David Eagleman is a neuroscientist and a fiction writer. During the day, he directs the Laboratory for Perception and Action and the Initiative on Neuroscience and Law at Baylor College of Medicine. He is best known for his work on time perception, synesthesia, and neurolaw.

The net is very improtant for businesses, for example many law firms do their reserach almost entirely through internet databases. If the net goes down, the law is thrown into chaos.

@TheOpenmynded Obviously I don’t live in United States, and although I have heard about Patriot Act, this is quite far from banning the internet. While you can insert some lines that shouldn’t be there into a bill that seems to do something that most people would not have any objections to I really doubt you could actually do something like banning the internet, there is a little difference in scale.
