yes it does. facts are true. statistics don’t necessarily have to be. That’s why facts are facts and not theories, guesses, hypotheses, etc. They are a way of presenting TRUE information. This is why “the sky is blue” is a fact and “the sky is red” is not no matter how much i like red.
Statistics on the other hand are based on numbers. I could poll 100 random people (2 from each US state) and if 70 of them like pizza then I can say 70% of US citizens like pizza. That’s a statistic.
